Meg Meadows
Welcome. You’ve taken a brave first step inward—toward the path within, and the soft return to your Self.
Whether you're navigating a season of transition, experiencing disconnection, or seeking a deeper sense of purpose, counseling offers a compassionate space to reclaim your unfolding. My practice is grounded in the belief that we all carry innate gifts—resilience, wisdom, and the capacity for meaningful change. Sometimes, these parts of us are stuck, hidden, or in need of care before they can be gently tended and woven into a life that feels truthful and authentic. Through our work together, we create space for those parts to be seen, nurtured, and integrated—so you can live with greater clarity, intention, and connection.
Let this be a space where healing begins—and where the quiet unfolding of your becoming takes root.

I offer individual therapy* for adults navigating:
Anxiety, stress, and burnout
Addiction and recovery support
Life transitions and developmental crises
Existential questions around identity and purpose
Grief and loss
Disconnection from self, others, or meaning
Rites of passage and the impact of societal roles and inherited stories at pivotal thresholds— like quarter- and midlife turning points, aging, deepening relational commitments, and choices around belonging and family.
Fees
I offer individual counseling sessions on a sliding scale between $20–$40, and also provide a number of free sessions for those in need of additional financial support.
*I am currently completing my clinical internship as part of the Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate program at the University of Southern Maine, where I am an M.S. candidate. My clinical work is provided under the supervision of Stephen Andrew, LCSW, and Leslie Joy Simmons, LCPC.
My Approach
I’m a counselor who believes deeply in the transformative power of being truly seen and heard. My approach is integrative and rooted in Buddhist psychology and mindfulness, Internal Family Systems (IFS), existential and person-centered theories, and a trauma-informed lens. I also hold a deep respect for how our family of origin, early attachment patterns, and the messages we've internalized from our culture shape our beliefs about ourselves and what is possible.
I see therapy as a sacred partnership—a space where you are free to explore who you are, what you value, and how you want to live. I offer a nonjudgmental, warm, and grounded presence, helping clients uncover the meaning, clarity, and direction that already lives within them.
In our work, we gently bring attention to the parts of you that are stuck—that carry the pain of trauma, shame, or unmet needs—so they can be healed and integrated in the present.
I trust in the human capacity for growth and healing. With compassion and curiosity, we can uncover the wholeness that’s already woven into who you are.
If you feel called to begin or return to the work of self-discovery, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
"We must be willing to let go of the life we planned, so as to have the life that is waiting for us."
—Joseph Campbell
